I missed the BYU game last Saturday and want to watch it today, where can I find it on byutv.org?
Where can I watch the last episode of that awesome show with the biker guy talking about American history?
How do I watch online what’s live on BYUtv right now?
BYUtv.org is a unique website. No other television channel brings its content to you quite like BYUtv does. With all of the different options we give you to view programming online, we occasionally receive questions from viewers about where and how they can watch the content they want. Our desire is to make watching BYUtv content incredibly simple, so here are the three different ways you can watch BYUtv content on BYUtv.org:
1. Live – If you don’t have access to BYUtv through your satellite or cable provider, Roku or through the BYUtv iPhone/iPad app, you can still watch what’s live on BYUtv right now on our website. To get to the live stream you will need to click on the “Watch” link located to the right of the BYUtv logo on the home page, then click on the “Live TV” link (as seen in the picture below). To watch the live stream you will need to have a BYUtv account. If you don’t already have one, you can create one by clicking on the “Register” link.
(On occasion, you may see a black screen that states: The current program is unavailable for online streaming. This is mostly because of different licensing restrictions on certain programs.

2. DVR – BYUtv airs sporting events, devotionals and other live events that we know you want to see on-demand as soon as possible. However, it usually takes us three to five days to encode a program so it can be available for on-demand viewing. To bridge the gap between the time a live event takes place and when we can put it up in our on-demand library, we created the DVR section on our website. This tool houses content that we recorded so you can watch it whenever you want. We’ll leave the recorded program in the DVR until it’s up in our on-demand library. So the next time you want to watch a game or devotional right after it aired, go to the DVR section. The DVR is also a great place to watch a live event, like a football or basketball game, because it includes a chat widget and you can use the pause and rewind function.
To get to the DVR section, click on the “Watch” link located to the right of the BYUtv logo on the home page, then click on the “DVR” link. To watch a previous program, click on the "Upcoming Events" link, as seen in the picture below. Select the “Past Events” option and select the show you want to view.

3. On-demand – BYUtv.org is the place to watch what you want, when you want. We have a vast library of content from all of our programs. You can watch an episode of The Generations Project, American Ride, Turning Point or True Blue. You can watch the popular series Fires of Faith or5000 Days Project: Two Brothers. You can watch classic football or basketball games. You can also search our library by going tobyutv.org/shows, clicking on the “All Shows” link (as seen in the picture below) and finding the program you want to watch.
