Tonight at 8:30pm ET/6:30pm MT, we will be re-airing one of our favorite episodes of Legends, featuring Shauna Rohbock.
If you missed it, don’t miss it again. Shauna played soccer here at BYU and is still the record holder in six different categories, including career goals and single season goals. In the single season category, she broke her own record twice. Plus, she went on to play professional women’s soccer, and if that wasn’t impressive enough, she is an Olympic bobsledder, winning the Silver Medal in Torino in 2006.
And why, you may ask, has Ms. Rohbock been able to accomplish so much? She is fast, fierce and unflappable "in the zone". Her game face would strike fear into Chuck Norris!
Shauna is not above getting really physical with her opponents, or doing the occasional body slide through the snow after scoring a game-winning point. Entertainment value is her forte. Shauna is also pretty sassy with our Legends host, Curt Doussett, which is always fun. On top of that, because she pushes a 300 pound sled, she does have some impressive arms to show for her efforts.
Oh, and speaking of guns, Shauna is also in the National Guard. You didn’t know that, did you? Well, now you do. And now you know who to have on your speed dial the next time you are set upon by ninjas in a dark alley.
So tune in to Legends tonight at 8:30pm ET/6:30pm MT on BYUtv. Or watch it online in the video above. Just watch.
